One of the sweetest things I've experienced...a hummingbird has nested right outside the boys' bedroom window.  See her there through the blinds?

Mow 'n Blow

This handy little mower blows bubbles out the side, which Roger is wild about.  What wirey Russells aren't looney for eating bubbles?  Luke seems to be getting a kick out of it too!

Binoculars

Papa, I sure hope those aren't x-ray vision binoculars!!

Pelican Brief

La Jolla was fun with the boys, but let's face it, to really enjoy it you have to go it alone.  Mom and I went back for breakfast and a walk.  I was thrilled to not only revisit the seals but discover the pelicans!  Get a load of this...

Sea Doggies

The boys first visit to La Jolla, CA.

This spot, the Children's Cove, is dear to me.  Particularly the sea doggies, as I called the seals as a child.  It seems as if you're in a different world.

The Saturday AM Vista Farmer's Market.  And the best part about it...year-round, outdoors.

My Mom and I have a new fixation on succulents. For a buck a piece, we're like kids in a candy store.
