A Rosie Disposition
GodMom, GodDad, and Baby Rosemary came to visit! OK, really Clay had a smarty pants conference in Anaheim, and I told him if he came all this way and didn't bring Katie I would disown him. Or something like that. Oh look, we're at the beach...

Does this guy ever stop talking?
Who's this kid's teacher?!?!
NASA
Isaac mailed this photo to NASA requesting that they make a real version of it and send it into space as a satellite. I fully intended to never hear from them again, but low and behold about a month later he received a package from them with a letter (thanking him for his suggestions but making no promises), artsy photographs from Mars, a 3-D viewfinder, and other odds and ends they could cram in to make a 7-year-old feel like king for a day. Very very cool.
Drinking Dixon
There is a drinking water reservoir nearby called Dixon Lake that is some of the clearest water I have ever seen. It served as a stunning place to spend the afternoon on Papa's birthday.
